3d Picture App (CAD Capture using Mobile)
Autodesk is creating new era, they are adopting newest technologies rapidly and providing easy application for common people by easy to use mobile interface for CAD needs.
Today I found a nice application for designers. Take photos with iPad and covert them to 3d file. This is a nice initiative from AutoDesk. This is a kind of social media for designers who wanted to share 3d sculpture. http://www.123dapp.com/
The capturing application for iPad is 123catch.Just imagine you can take your children's picture and save them in 3d. So It seems that photos has new dimensions. Technology is simplifying everything. I should say AutoDesk in new era. Connecting and reaching common people with the CAD.

I tried this Application for iPad.
Its simple 5 steps.
- Download app 123catch from itunes. (32 mb)
- Sign in with AutoDesk account (Free)
- Capture pictures.
- Submit (Images processes in remote server, hence you need to have internet connectivity to upload pictures, the faster your internet speed faster your publication.)
The interesting fact is that you can share this with people having common interests and get likes, shares and comments as in social media websites.
I am thinking taking my Raihan's picture in 3d and save it in AutoDesk. While he grows I will have his 3d image rather than just 2d pictures. :)
